Best Student Papers Contest
The best five (5) student papers presented at the 28th Annual Review will be announced at the symposium banquet. Members of the ACES Board of Directors will judge student papers submitted for this competition. The first, second, and third winners will be awarded cash prizes of $500, $400, $300, $200, and $100, respectively.
Conditions to Participate in Student Paper Competition
- • All students wishing to participate in the competition should submit the paper that conforms to all other submission requirements and instructions for authors as described in the Call for Papers.
- • Only one student paper competition submission per student is allowed each year.
- • For consideration in the student paper competition, the student must be the first author and the only student author on the paper
- • Papers to be considered for the competition should be submitted online using ACES paper submission web site for the conference
- • Papers need to be submitted in a regular session related to papers topic as well as to the Student Paper Competition session
- • Based on the quality only up to 10 (Ten) student papers will be selected as finalists by the Student Paper Contest Committee to be presented in the Student Paper Competition session
- • Each selected finalist must be registered for the Conference and must attend and present his/her paper to the judges for award consideration
